1. Overview

At ForSyntax, we are committed to providing high-quality live coding education through personalized and engaging sessions. To ensure a risk-free start, we offer a 100% No-Questions-Asked Refund Guarantee within the first 14 days after your first paid session. This policy explains refund eligibility, calculation, and processes.

2. Course Structure

We provide three formats of live learning:

  • Alpha Batch: One-on-one sessions (1 teacher : 1 student)
  • Beta Batch: Small group sessions (1 teacher : 2–3 students)
  • Gamma Batch: Group sessions (1 teacher : 4–5 students)

All sessions are charged on a per-session basis.

3. Demo Session

  • Each student receives one free demo session.
  • Demo sessions are complimentary and not eligible for refunds.

4. Refund Eligibility

4.1 Standard Refund (Within 14 Days)

  • Students may request a 100% prorated refund on unused sessions within 14 days from their first paid session.
  • Refunds are calculated as:
Refund = (Total Sessions Purchased – Sessions Attended) × Session Rate
  • Payment gateway charges (e.g., Razorpay, Easebuzz, international processors) are non-refundable.

4.2 After 14 Days

  • Refunds cannot be issued after 14 days unless valid reasons are provided (e.g., medical emergencies).
  • Service Fee: A variable review/processing fee (may vary case-to-case) will be deducted.

4.3 Medical or Personal Emergencies

  • Refunds for unused sessions are available if the student is unable to continue due to a medical or major personal emergency.
  • Documentation (e.g., a medical certificate) must be submitted within 10 days of the incident.
  • Refund is calculated as per unused sessions at the session rate, minus payment gateway charges and applicable service fees.

5. Attendance, No-Shows & Rescheduling

5.1 Individual (Alpha) Sessions

  • May be rescheduled unlimited times with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to instructor availability.

5.2 Group (Beta/Gamma) Sessions

  • Group sessions follow a fixed timetable.
  • If one student cannot attend, the class will still run for the group.
  • That session will be counted as attended for refund purposes, but a recording will be provided.
  • Group sessions cannot be rescheduled individually.

5.3 No-Shows

  • Failure to attend a session without prior notice will be treated as an attended session and is non-refundable.
