1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy explains how session cancellations, rescheduling, and discontinuation of classes affect your eligibility for refunds at ForSyntax.
2. Cancellation Window & Refund Eligibility
2.1 Cancellations Within the First 14 Days (Standard Refund Eligibility)
If a student cancels their enrollment within 14 days from their first paid session, they are eligible for a 100% prorated refund for unused sessions.
Refund Calculation:
Refund = (Total Sessions Purchased – Sessions Attended) × Session Rate
Important Notes:
- Payment gateway charges (Razorpay, Easebuzz, international processors) are non-refundable.
- Only unused sessions are refundable.
- Cancellation must be done via email to support@forsyntax.com.
2.2 Cancellations After 14 Days
Cancellations made after 14 days are not eligible for refund, except for emergency cases.
If a cancellation request is still made after 14 days:
- A refund is not guaranteed.
- A variable service/processing fee will apply if the case is reviewed and approved.
2.3 Cancellations Due to Medical or Major Personal Emergencies
If a student must cancel classes due to a medical or major personal emergency:
Eligibility requires:
- Valid documentation (e.g., medical certificate) submitted within 10 days of the incident.
- Refund will be given only for unused sessions.
Refund Calculation:
Unused sessions × Session Rate
minus payment gateway charges
minus service/processing fees
